Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Draftmate website, browser extension, local bridge software, and related services (the "Service") operated by Draftmate LLC, a Pennsylvania limited liability company ("Draftmate", "we", "us"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility and Account Use

• You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding contract.
• Your account and license key are for your personal, non-commercial use only.
• Account sharing is prohibited. Only one active draft session per license is permitted at a time. Switching machines is allowed; the older machine is automatically signed out when a new one activates.
• Use of multiple accounts, device-spoofing, or payment-identity rotation to circumvent these limits is a breach of these Terms.

2. Trial Rules

• One free trial draft per account, payment identity, and device cluster.
• Trial access ends at the first of the following:
  1. Pick activity reaches the start of Round 6, or
  2. The first trial draft session is completed or abandoned.
• Trial eligibility is determined by email, payment identity, and device fingerprint. Creating additional accounts to obtain new trials violates these Terms.

3. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to: share access or license keys; resell access; circumvent paywalls, trial limits, or active-session enforcement; use multiple accounts to evade restrictions; use bots or automation to misuse the Service; reverse-engineer the Service except to the extent permitted by law.

4. Billing and Payments

Paid access is sold as a one-time charge per term — Weekly Pass (7 days from activation), Season Pass (through the end of the 2026 FFPC drafting season — September 14, 2026), or any future SKU we offer. Payments are processed by Stripe; we do not store full card numbers. There is no automatic renewal. When your access expires, the Service simply ends. We may email you a reminder when next-season passes go on sale; that email is not a renewal.

5. Refunds

Refund terms are described in our Refund Policy. Generally, sales are final except for duplicate charges or confirmed billing errors. No refunds are issued for access revoked due to a Terms violation, except where required by law.

6. First-Season Renewal Courtesy

2026 Season Pass buyers (our first-season subscribers) may renew for the 2027 season at the 2026 price of $29.99 — even if the standard price has been raised — as a thank-you for being first. This is a one-time courtesy applicable only to the 2026-to-2027 renewal cycle; pricing reverts to the current standard rate for all subsequent seasons. We extend this courtesy via a per-customer Stripe coupon issued by email. Draftmate reserves the right to set prices in any future season at its sole discretion.

7. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate access for any violation of these Terms — including account sharing, abuse of trial mechanics, payment fraud, or chargeback abuse. We may also discontinue the Service at our discretion. If we discontinue the Service mid-season for reasons not caused by your conduct, we will issue a prorated refund.

8. No Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, accuracy of any recommendation, or specific drafting outcomes. Draftmate is decision support — your draft picks are your own.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Draftmate is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost fantasy contest entry fees, prizes, or rankings. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amounts you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Allegheny County, Pennsylvania.

11. Trademarks, Affiliation, and Scope of the Service

Draftmate is an independent third-party tool. Draftmate is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or otherwise associated with FFPC, LLC; the National Football League ("NFL"); the NFL Players Association; or any rankings or content provider. All third-party trademarks, service marks, trade names, logos, and product names are the property of their respective owners. References to FFPC, NFL teams, players, or any third-party brand on this website or within the Service are descriptive (nominative) only and do not imply any partnership, endorsement, or sponsorship.

The Service is a viewer and decision-support tool that runs in the user's own Google Chrome browser and on the user's own Windows computer. The Service reads only content that the user is already authorized to view in their own browser session. The Service does not access any third-party application programming interface (API), does not scrape third-party servers, does not submit picks, bids, or transactions, and does not take any action on the user's behalf with any third-party platform. The user makes every draft selection and every other in-platform action personally.

You are responsible for complying with the terms of service of any third-party platform you use the Service alongside. The Service does not, in any way, modify, alter, automate, or interfere with the operation of any third-party platform.

No responsibility for third-party platform actions. FFPC, the NFL, or any other third-party platform may, in its sole discretion and at any time, take action against your account, contests, or entries on its platform, for any reason or no reason. Such actions may include — without limitation — account suspension or closure; voiding, invalidation, or disqualification of contest entries; forfeiture of entry fees, deposits, prizes, or winnings; loss of accumulated standings or points; or any other penalty the third-party platform chooses to impose. You acknowledge and agree that Draftmate has no control over and is not responsible or liable for any such action or its consequences, whether or not the third-party platform cites your use of Draftmate as a reason. Without limiting the foregoing, Draftmate will not be liable for any entry fees, prizes, winnings, deposits, contest standings, or other amounts lost, forfeited, or withheld as a result of any third-party platform action. Your sole remedy against Draftmate for any claim arising under these Terms — including any claim related to a third-party platform action — is subject to the limitations set forth in Section 9 (Limitation of Liability) and Section 8 (No Warranties).

12. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted with a revised effective date at the top of this page.
