No — run one. Draftmate Pro is the extension the installer sets up on your computer, and it covers the five free sites too, with no key. If you also added the free version from the store, remove it at chrome://extensions so two copies are never trying to draw a panel on the same page.

It floats over your draft room — on any of the three sites — as a movable panel you can drag anywhere. It reads the live picks, filters your uploaded rankings to who's still on the board, and surfaces your top recommendations (10 to 50, your choice) for the current position view (QB / RB / WR / TE / FLEX / ALL).

On top of that: it tilts for championship-week matchups (W15–17), highlights stack + bring-back opportunities, and shows your exposure both inside that tournament and across every other team you've drafted this season.

Draftmate doesn't pick for you. You click every selection yourself. It's a viewer — a smart cheat sheet that updates live as the draft happens — not an auto-drafter or a bot. You're always in control.

Yes — the first five rounds are free, no purchase required. You get the full panel through round 5 — live recommendations, exposure, stack pills, and the W15–17 playoff-week controls. At the start of round 6 the panel locks until you buy a Weekly or Season Pass.

No. Draftmate is a tool, not a content product. You bring your own rankings — a CSV from whichever paid or free service you prefer, or your own spreadsheet. We don't tell you who to draft; we help you read your board faster.

That's deliberate. You already pay for rankings somewhere; we're not going to charge you twice for the same opinion.

Use the Upload button in the Draftmate panel. Drop your new CSV in — the panel sends it to Draftmate, which reloads with the fresh rankings immediately. You'll see the updated data in your recommendations within seconds.

You can also just overwrite your CSV file on disk at the same location — Draftmate notices the file changed and picks up the new rankings on the next sync, no re-upload needed. (The Upload button is still the way to go when you're switching to a different file.)

Draftmate reads standard ranking CSV exports from the major sources, and only needs two columns to work: a player name and a rank. If a file won't load, the upload message tells you exactly which column it couldn't find — most of the time you can fix it in seconds by renaming that header (for example to Rank or Player Name) and uploading again.

If it still won't work, email your CSV to support@getdraftmate.com and let us know which site it's from. We'll work to add native support for that source's format in an upcoming update — bring-your-own-rankings means Draftmate should read whatever you already use.

The Draftmate panel in your browser talks to a small background app running on your Windows computer. If the panel shows a "can't connect" message — or your recommendations just stop updating — the background app probably isn't running.

The fix is one click: open the Draftmate shortcut from your Start menu or Desktop. A console window will flash briefly, then it'll minimize — that's the app running in the background on port 8765. Refresh your draft tab and the panel will reconnect within a few seconds.

Want this to be set-and-forget? Re-run the Draftmate installer and check "Start Draftmate when Windows starts" during setup. That launches it automatically every time you boot your computer, so you never have to think about it again.

Your browser blocked Draftmate's local connection — even while the bridge is running fine. Chrome and Edge require permission for a web page to reach an app on your own computer, and when it's off the panel falls back to demo mode with placeholder players. Click the site-info icon (the tune or lock icon) at the left of the address bar and turn on "Apps on device" — newer Chrome's name for it; older Chrome/Edge call it "Local network access" or "Insecure private network." Then hard-refresh your draft tab (Ctrl+Shift+R) and it switches to your live board. You'll do this once per site.

Was it working, then suddenly demo? A Chrome or Edge update can silently reset this permission — re-check the "Apps on device" toggle first. To confirm the bridge itself is alive, open http://127.0.0.1:8765/health; if it returns {"ok": true}, the bridge is fine and this permission is the only blocker.

No. Draftmate is a browser extension paired with a small Windows app, so it only works when you draft in Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge on a Windows 10/11 laptop or desktop. It does not run on the FFPC, DraftKings or Underdog mobile apps, on Safari, or on a Chromebook — running the Chrome browser isn't the same as a Chromebook, since Draftmate also needs its small Windows companion app, which ChromeOS can't run. A Mac build is in private beta but isn't publicly available yet.

If you usually draft from your phone, you'll want to switch to a computer for any draft where you plan to use Draftmate. Safari isn't supported; mobile isn't on the roadmap, since the panel needs the screen real estate to be useful.

No — a Chromebook can't run Draftmate. This one trips people up: Draftmate needs a supported browser (Firefox, Chrome or Edge), and a Chromebook has Chrome — but they aren't the same thing. Draftmate also relies on a small companion app that runs on Windows, and a Chromebook's operating system (ChromeOS) can't run that app. You'll need a Windows 10 or 11 laptop or desktop.

Your Season Pass runs through the end of the 2026 drafting season (September 30, 2026), on all three sites. You'll get an email reminder when 2027 passes go on sale. There is no auto-renewal. You decide whether to renew.

As a thank-you for being first, 2026 buyers get the 2026 price ($29.99) for their 2027 renewal — even if the standard price has gone up. This one-year courtesy is for first-season subscribers only; pricing reverts to standard rates in 2028.

Yes — install the extension and bridge on as many machines as you want. Only one machine can be actively running a draft at a time. Switching machines is automatic: signing in on a new computer kicks the older one off, no support ticket needed.

Because your portfolio lives on your computer, not on our servers. That's the same design that keeps your draft data off the internet — but it does mean a pick you made somewhere else has to be pulled in before Draftmate knows about it.

Anything you draft in the FFPC, DraftKings or Underdog mobile apps, on a friend's laptop, or on a second machine of your own, won't appear in the portfolio on this computer until you sync it here.

How to pull everything in:

• FFPC — visit My Teams. Draftmate picks up your rosters from that page and refreshes them in the background while you're on the site.
• DraftKings — open My Contests, then click "Grab all my drafts" at the bottom-left.
• Underdog — click "Grab all my UD teams" at the bottom-left. It works from the lobby, from inside a draft, or from the completed-drafts page.

Do that on each computer you draft from, and do it after any stretch of drafting on your phone. Exposure percentages are only as complete as the rosters the machine has actually seen — if the number looks low, a sync is the first thing to try.

All sales are final except for duplicate charges or billing errors, which we'll resolve within 7 days. Because Draftmate gives you immediate access to live decision support, we can't offer a "tried it, didn't like it" refund window.

Only what's needed to run the product: your account email, payment info via Stripe (we never see your card), the drafts you're in, the picks you make, and basic usage events (button clicks, recommendation accepts). We never see content from tabs on any other site.

Our player base skews heavily Windows, and shipping one polished, well-tested Windows experience matters more than spreading thin across every platform. Mac support is in private beta right now on Apple-Silicon Macs (M1–M4) — Intel Macs aren't supported. We're polishing it for a public release; Windows is the platform we fully support today. The Draftmate Windows app checks for updates every time you start it. When a new version is available, the panel shows an "update available" banner — one click takes you to the download, and the new installer upgrades your existing setup in place (your license and settings carry over). We push fixes within hours of finding a bug during draft season.

During peak draft weeks (July–September) you can expect a handful of small updates as we tune to site changes across all three platforms and add the polish items you'd want on a $30 product. Off-season is quieter.

No. Draftmate is an independent third-party tool, built by a drafter for drafters. We're not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by FFPC, DraftKings, Underdog, the NFL, the NFLPA, or any ranking provider. All trademarks are property of their respective owners.

Draftmate runs entirely in your own browser and on your own computer. It reads what's already on your screen during a draft you're authorized to view, applies your own rankings, and surfaces recommendations. It does not communicate with any platform's servers, does not submit picks or transactions, and does not take any action on your behalf — you make every selection yourself.
